Saints Speak - 12/17/2020 - Thank You and Merry Christmas
Dear Parents,
These Advent Days are soon coming to an end. We are so close to celebrating the birth of our Savior! The students are continuing to work, play and pray through Advent. Please remember that our Christmas Break begins on Tuesday, December 22 at 11:30 am for grades K-8, and 11:00 am for Preschool.
Tonight is the night! Our Christmas Program will be “live” in the comfort of your own home. A link will be sent to each family at 6:30 pm this evening. I have had a chance to see a “sneak preview”, and it is amazing to see!
Because of your generous donations, the boxes near Door 1 and 7 are overflowing with items for Hesed House. All of these things are needed and appreciated by Hesed House. There is still time to donate. Tomorrow, Friday is the last day for this collection. Thank you for your kindness to those in need.
On behalf of the staff and myself, I want to thank you for helping us celebrate the season in so many ways. ASPA provided a beautiful Christmas party for the staff yesterday afternoon. We were able to come together in a socially distanced and safe way to celebrate and make Merry! Everyone enjoyed the “take-away” delicious food, drinks and favors!
Thank you also to the families who were a part of the collective contribution for the staff Christmas gift or who brought treats and goodies for the staff to enjoy. We are all touched and humbled by your thoughtfulness. The generosity of this community is overwhelming!
Thank you also to those who have supported our Annual Fund. Your belief in our mission helps us to carry on the great works that happen every day as ASCA. It is not too late to make a year end gift that will be acknowledged with a receipt for tax purposes. Click here to make your contribution online.
I am happy to report that Saintly Acts are being performed every day here at ASCA. Just a few examples include Eva B in 1st grade, Jaxton J in 2nd gr, Matthew S. and Evan P. in 5th gr. All of these students were observed by their teachers doing some especially kind and caring. Great job Saints!
Please remember that tomorrow is the re-enrollment deadline. We sincerely hope that every student will be returning!
I know many of you are wondering if Mrs. Marshall’s new babies have arrived. So far, she is still waiting patiently. I will keep you posted. I have promised her our prayers as she waits.
My first week here at ASCA has been such a wonderful experience! Thank you for welcoming me so warmly! This will be the last Saints Speak for 2020. I would like to wish you all a very Blessed Christmas and a happy, healthy 2021. May you and those you love feel the presence of Jesus as we celebrate His birth!
God Bless,
Mrs. Cyndi Collins
