Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 3/27/2025 - God Is Always With Us

As we conclude Women’s History Month, our saint this week was St. Julie Billiart. St. Julie lived in France in the late 1700s. She was always a woman of strong faith, even when a mysterious illness overtook her body. For over 20 years she was bedridden, unable to walk and at times unable to speak. During that time, she still did her best to teach about Jesus and provide spiritual guidance to others from her bed. She helped found the Sisters of Notre Dame, who were dedicated to educating poor women and training catechists. At the same time she founded the Sisters, she was miraculously able to walk again! Despite her illness and challenges, St. Julie remained strong in her faith. She is a reminder to all of us that even at our lowest points, God is always with us.

All Saints Golf Classic

Registration is now open for our annual golf outing, which will take place on Monday, May 12th, at White Eagle Golf Club. Click here for the flyer with more information, or click here to register. Last year’s event sold out quickly, so don’t miss your chance!

$250 Tuition Payment Due April 18th

As in past years, in April we require a $250 non-refundable payment per family that will be credited to next year’s 2025-2026 tuition. This payment will be charged to your current FACTS agreement for all returning families and is payable by Friday, April 18.  Families who do not pay this amount, which will be credited to 2025-2026 tuition, will forfeit their student’s enrollment spot at that time. If you do not plan to return to All Saints and have not previously informed us, please contact me at mmarshall@ascacademy.org.

Literacy Night

When we get back from Spring Break, it’s Book Fair time! In addition to the Book Fair, we’ll have a visit from author/illustrator Laura Smetana as well as our annual Literacy Night! Literacy Night this year is Wednesday, April 9th, from 5:30-7:00pm. ASCA families are invited to school to shop the Book Fair and participate in various literacy activities throughout the building for the chance to earn an Out of Uniform Pass (or prize for our preschool students). We hope to see you there!

Spring Uniform Reminders

When we return from spring break, it will be April! Students are able to wear uniform shorts and gym shoes again, every day except for Friday Mass days. As a reminder, uniform gym shoes must be primarily black, white, or grey, with one accent color (no neon colors or lights). If you have any questions about the uniform policy, it can be found beginning on p. 25 of the Parent Student Handbook.

Spring Play: The Enchanted Bookshop

After the successful performance of Peter Pan in November, we are so excited to be presented a spring play this year! The Enchanted Bookshop will be performed here at All Saints on April 25 & 26. Click here to purchase your tickets today!

Community News: Easter Egg Hunts!

ASCA families are invited to two Easter Egg Hunts on Saturday, April 12th. St. Francis High School is hosting an Easter egg hunt at 10am that morning; click here for more information. That afternoon, St. Elizabeth Seton parish is hosting an egg hunt at 1:00pm. Hopefully your family can take advantage of one of these fun opportunities in our community!
