Tuesday, December 10: Junior High Mathcounts Competition
All junior high students are invited to participate in the school level Mathcounts competition next week. It will take place after school on Tuesday, December 10.
Participants should meet in Mrs. Samonds' room (230) at 3:30pm. Pick up will be at Door 1 around 5:15pm. Students should bring pencils and their calculator. Click here for more information. Questions? Email mathclub@ascacademy.org.
Candy Cane Grams ARE BACK!
Make someone’s holiday sweet by purchasing a candy cane! The cost is $1 each. Candy canes can be purchased for a friend, a sibling, a teacher, a staff member, or even your entire class! Wish them a blessed Christmas and simply let them know that you are thinking of them.
Candy canes may be purchased through this coming Friday, December 13. Elves will be delivering the candy canes and messages to classrooms on Wednesday, December 18.

Winter Baton Twirling Clinic
Learn basic marching steps and fundamentals of baton twirling with Lili Breunig, Co-Captain of the Purdue University All American Marching Twirling Team, and daughter of ASCA art teacher, Mrs. Breunig. This clinic is for students in grade 2 and up. Click here for more information.
Art Enrichment Club – Winter 2025
Students in grade 2 and up will have an opportunity to create a Chinese Dragon Batik in the Winter session of Art Enrichment Club. The class will meet on Tuesdays after school beginning on January 14 through February 18. Click here for more information on registration.

If you are selecting an item that will be a gift, you can select shipping OR when checking out, enter ‘hold in office for present’ where the site asks for the student’s name. Please note that the order deadline for guaranteed Christmas break delivery is Friday, November 29.
Students are encouraged to wear a spirit wear top with their uniform bottom (uniform pants, uniform shorts, uniform skirt or uniform jumper) on Spirit Wear Wednesday, which is most Wednesdays. Show your school spirit!

Online orders that are placed by the 15th of each month will be processed by the 25th of the month, with delivery to school during the first week of the following month the order was placed. Wednesday, October 2: All School Panoramic Photo
Elan Photography will be at ASCA for this annual tradition and all school photo on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 9am. Students should be in uniform today (no spirit wear or out of uniform passes). Preschoolers who are not here on Wednesdays are welcome to join us for the picture.

Charleston Gift Wrap Sale – Counts Toward the Family Fundraising Obligation (FFO) – runs through Friday, September 27, 2024
Earn toward your FFO (Family Fundraising Obligation) with the purchase of high quality wrap, kitchen and home goods, holiday décor, personalized items, candles, high fashion bags, gourmet foods, and other gift items. 2024-2025 School Supply Ordering
Avoid the crowds and purchase your school supplies for the 2024-2025 school year online – click here. The order deadline is Sunday, June 9, so get your order in today. Orders completed by June 9th will be sent to All Saints, and waiting for your student at the Meet and Greet on Thursday, August 15.
Orders after June 9 will be slightly higher in cost, and sent directly to your home. If you prefer to purchase your supplies on your own, please click here for the supply lists.

Spirit Wear Wednesdays
Show your school spirit on Spirit Wear Wednesday. On most Wednesdays, students may wear a spirit wear top over/with their uniform bottom. Spirit wear is available from both Deb’s Embroidery, Lands’ End, and Squadlocker.

Saturday, September 21: Hustle Up the Hill for the Homeless
This event will take place at Mt. Hoy in the Blackwell Forest Preserve in Warrenville on Saturday, September 21. It is organized by St. Irene’s Bridge Communities program. Bridge Communities do amazing work to support homeless families as they transition to self-sufficiency.

Out of Uniform Fundraiser for the ASCA Class of 2026
Out-of-Uniform fundraiser days are offered by the current 7th grade class (Class of 2026) to raise money for its 8th grade trip next year. Your child can enjoy a total of 7 Out-of-Uniform days by participating in the fundraiser. The Class of 2026 thanks you for your generous support!
Out of Uniform Fundraiser Days are:

The cost to participate is:
- $30 (per child) to participate in the Prepaid Package for all Seven Out-of-Uniform days (with a $60 MAXIMUM per family)
-or-
- $10 (per child) Drop-in Rate for each individual Out-of-Uniform Day
To take advantage of the Prepaid Package, please return the form to the school office by Friday, September 27, 2024. Payment should be via cash or check (payable to ASCA). If you prefer to pay for each Out-of-Uniform day separately, your child must bring in $10 cash the morning of the scheduled Out-of-Uniform day. Students who do not participate in this fundraiser must be in Perfect Uniform. Out of uniform passes can not be used.
Please note that this fundraiser supports the ASCA Class of 2026 and does not count toward your Family Fundraising Obligation (FFO).
