Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 5/22/2025 - Being True to Your Faith
There is much to celebrate today as our year winds down.
Our saint this week is St. Lorenzo Ruiz, the patron saint of altar servers! St. Lorenzo lived in the Philippines in the early 1600s. He was always a faithful Catholic and began serving the Church at a young age as an altar server. As an adult, he was persecuted for his faith and eventually was killed because he would not deny Jesus as our savior. He is a reminder to all of us of the importance of being true to our faith, even when we face challenges.
Farewell!
This evening the Class of 2025 will graduate from All Saints! We are proud of these students and wish them well as they go on to high school. To the parents of the Class of 2025, thank you for your support of your children and our school over the years. We are grateful for your partnership and look forward to celebrating your children with you tonight. To the rest of our ASCA community, please keep our graduates in your prayers as they begin the next chapter of their journey!
Tomorrow is the last day of school for our preschool and kindergarten students. To our littlest saints, thank you for an amazing year! Have a safe, relaxing, and fun summer, and we look forward to welcoming you back in August!
End of Year Reminders
Next week is our final week of school for our 1st-7th grade students. Please see below for some important reminders for the week:
- There is no school Monday as we celebrate Memorial Day. Enjoy the long weekend!
- There is no bus on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday next week. If your child usually rides the bus, please be sure to make alternate pickup arrangements.
- There is no hot lunch next week. Please make sure your child packs a lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday (keep reading for Thursday lunch details).
- Thursday is our Field Day! Each grade has an assigned color shirt to wear. Students may wear out of uniform bottoms (please, no short shorts) and gym shoes. They will spend a large part of the day outside, so we recommend a water bottle, hat, and sunscreen. Lunch on Thursday will be a pizza lunch provided by ASPA, which we will eat outside picnic-style. Students should bring a towel to sit on for lunch. If your child does not eat pizza, please pack a lunch for Thursday. Thank you ASPA for providing lunch, and thank you in advance to all the volunteers who make Field Day possible!
- Friday is our final school day together. All are welcome to join us for Mass at 8:15am, and all students will dismiss at 9:30am. There is no after care on this day. Friday is a dress UP day, so students may wear nice clothes in place of their uniform if they choose.
Lost and Found
We have accumulated quite a large collection of items in the Lost & Found at Door 1. Please stop and take a look before the school year ends, and claim any items that are yours. Any items left after dismissal next Friday will be donated.
