Saints Speak from the Principal - 2/25/2021 - Thank You (and Goodbye)

Dear Parents,

February has flown by! We are moving into March and the Second Sunday in Lent already. Mrs. Marshall is returning on Monday. I know she is excited to be back with the students! I have greatly enjoyed my time here. Your children are enthusiastic and friendly. I wish I could have gotten to know more of them! ASCA is a strong, vibrant community filled with committed and faith-filled students, parents and staff!

Congratulations to all 6th and 7th Graders who participated in the IL Math League Contest earlier this week, and to the students who scored in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place:

6th Grade - 1st place: Alexander Wold, 2nd place: Ella Paramo, 3rd place: Caroline Kiesler.
7th Grade - 1st place: Abigail Tallman, 2nd place: Tie: Gavin Freeston and Colin McGovern, 3rd place: Tie: Paige Maurer and Felipe Posada.

Financial Aid Deadline

The deadline to apply for financial aid through the Catholic Education Foundation is this coming Monday, March 1st. Be sure to get your application in if you want to be considered for Financial Aid for the 2021-2022 school year.

DDA/SSVC Update

Watch your child’s backpack for your invitation to the most fun night of the year! It will be different this year because it is virtual, but will be just as much fun! Be sure you have marked your calendar for Saturday, March 20th!

New Travel Recommendations

The CDC has updated their travel recommendations. If you plan to travel over the weekends or during the upcoming Spring Break, please see the attached and determine what steps you will take when you return. We ask that you are extra vigilant in watching for Covid symptoms if you have traveled out of the state, country or seen people outside your “bubble”.
