Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 4/15/2021 - Meet the Principal
It’s hard to believe, but only six weeks remain in the school year! At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I’ll say again how proud I am of our faculty, staff, students, and parents. Thank you ALL for your assistance in keeping us safely in school these 143 days! This has truly been a team effort.
I have greatly enjoyed getting to know our students and staff, but I have missed getting to know our parents! I appreciate the emails, phone calls, and waves in the car line, but I know many of you miss being able to volunteer in the school building and visit with one another in the parking lot. We miss these things too!
We don’t want to let the year pass without offering some opportunity for us to gather, so we’d like to take advantage of the nicer weather and provide some opportunities to gather and visit before the year comes to a close.
Over the next five weeks, we’ll be hosting “Meet the Principal” gatherings for parents. These are an opportunity for you to meet me in person, meet new parents in your grade level, and visit with old friends. The gatherings will take place outside Door 1, 8:15-9:00am. RSVPs and masks are required; click here to RSVP. I look forward to meeting you in person and getting to know you better!
This Monday, April 19th, is Spring Picture Day. Students may be out of uniform but should wear dress clothes today.
Please click here for the 2021-2022 School Calendar! We hope this helps with your planning for the upcoming year.
Over the last few weeks, we have noticed an increase in the number of students who are not picked up on time. We understand that late pickups are inevitable due to work schedules and traffic but want to take this opportunity to remind all families of our procedures. Faculty and staff will wait outside with the students until 3:35pm. At that time, students are sent to after care (provided by RLS Tutoring) and will be charged the drop-in fee by RLS. After two drop-ins, the family will be required to register with RLS. All after-care billing goes directly through RLS.
For Thankful Thursday this week, we would like to recognize Five Star Tennis, a 2020 DDA sponsor. We thank them for their continued support of All Saints!
Lastly, I’d like to recognize the following students who received Saintly Acts this week: Tyler W. (6th grade), Alex A. (Kdg.), Sairet E. (4th grade), Lilly H. (4th grade), Laila G. (4th grade), Ella T. (4th grade), Luke K. (1st grade), and Piper C. (4th grade). Keep being Saintly!
Warm regards,
Margie Marshall
