Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 11/5/2020 - Parent Teacher Connection

Thank you, parents, for taking the time to meet with our teachers virtually today for parent-teacher conferences! The teachers have enjoyed the opportunity to speak with you about your child’s progress and look forward to your continued partnership throughout the rest of the school year. If you missed your conference for any reason, please contact your child’s teacher directly to set up another time to meet virtually.

On Monday, we’ll kick off our ASCA Turkey Tango, this year’s Boosterthon event! This event is both a FUND-raiser and a FUN-raiser, with daily videos and challenges for the students to encourage healthy competition among classes. Each day next week, keep an eye out for a message with the day’s challenge and ways you can support All Saints and this important event.

The Turkey Tango will culminate with class Dance Days on 11/18 and 11/19 for all students. All funds raised benefit technology enhancements for our school, and you can support the event both by pledging and by sharing on social media. Thank you for your support of the 2020 ASCA Turkey Tango!

As you’re aware, my husband and I are expecting twins around Christmas, and I will be taking some time off when the babies are born to care for them. I’m excited to announce that while I am on maternity leave, Mrs. Cyndi Collins will be serving as Interim Principal of All Saints Catholic Academy. Mrs. Collins is an experienced educator who has dedicated her life to Catholic education, serving our Catholic schools as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. She most recently spent fifteen years as principal of St. Isidore School in Bloomingdale before retiring in 2019. I am confident she will be an excellent addition to our All Saints team and will keep our school moving forward in my absence. Click here for a more detailed biography of Mrs. Collins.

I plan to continue working for as long as I am able, so I cannot share an exact start date for Mrs. Collins at this time. Please trust that you will receive communication from one or both of us as soon as Mrs. Collins officially takes over in her interim role. In the meantime, she and I are communicating regularly to ensure a smooth transition for all.
