Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 6/1/2022 - Have an Awesome Summer
Today is our last full day of school! I’m sending the final Saints Speak a day early, as tomorrow morning we begin our summer vacation! As a reminder, tomorrow is a DRESS UP day for Mass at 8:15 (parents are welcome!), followed by dismissal at 9:30am. There is no after care tomorrow.
Our summer office hours begin next week! The school office will be open throughout the summer, Monday-Thursday mornings, 9am-12pm. Please come to Door 7 if you visit school during the summer.

We have just one Saintly Act to recognize today; congratulations to RJ S. in 4th grade! Keep being Saintly!
One of our ASCA alums, Malia Jimenez, is offering an online math program this summer to incoming 4th, 6th, and 8th grade students called JungleMath. Students will both learn and review math topics that would be beneficial in helping them succeed in math during the upcoming school year. JungleMath has been running for the past 2 summers, and students have seemed to enjoy the program. JungleMath runs for 6 weeks, beginning the week of June 13. We will also be offering HSPT math prep once a week and competition math for all junior high students. Additionally, we will be offering one-on-one tutoring sessions on a limited basis. For one-on-one tutoring or questions, please contact Malia at asca.junglemath@gmail.com.

I’d like to share this prayer for the end of the school year, as you are all in my prayers today and throughout the summer:
At the end of this school year we give thanks to God
For all the teaching and learning that has taken place in our school,
Both in and out of the classroom,
For the talents and gifts that have been shared and the challenges that have been faced,
For the burdens that have been lifted and the hurts that have been healed,
For the respect and care that has been given.
We give thanks for the friendships that have just begun and for those that have grown,
For the faith that has been lived in our daily struggles,
For the hope that has lifted our hearts on the dark days,
And for the love that has kept us going.
We give thanks for the community that we are, and we ask you Lord,
Bless our students. May Your Spirit inspire them with confidence and calmness.
Bless our families as we begin summer, and may our time together leave us with memories to cherish.
Pour out Your love on us that we may return renewed and refreshed to continue our journey together.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
