Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 3/7/2024 - Stepping Outside Our Comfort Zone
Please take a few minutes to reflect on these words from Pope Francis:
“Instead of being just a church that welcomes and receives by keeping the doors open, let us try also to be a church that finds new roads, that is able to step outside itself and go to those who do not attend Mass, to those who have quit or are indifferent.”
I feel like Pope Francis is challenging us to step outside of our comfort zone here. The phrase “preaching to the choir” comes to mind. How can we go outside our typical circle and invite others in, inviting them to know God’s love and mercy, in a way that is welcoming and not intimidating or off-putting? Let us pray today that God guides us in this work.
Masquerade Gala – 19th Annual DDA
The Dinner Dance Auction is just 9 days away, and we can’t wait to see you there! If you’re not able to join us, you can still participate from afar! Auction catalogs will be going home to all school families next week. If you aren’t attending the DDA, you can still participate in the silent auction or contribute to the Fund-A-Need at onecau.se/2024dda. Check out the catalog for more info on these opportunities. Thank you for your support!
New Family Referral Credit
When current school families refer new school families to ASCA, we like to say thank you with a New Family Referral Credit. If you are:
- a family new to ASCA this 2023-2024 school year,
- you have been enrolled for the first two trimesters of this school year, and
- another school family recommended All Saints to you or positively influenced you to enroll your student(s) at ASCA this year,
let us know more about the referring family by clicking here to fill out a short form. The family who impacted your enrollment decision may be eligible for a referral credit of $250 toward their 2023-2024 Family Fundraising Obligation (FFO).
