Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 12/19/2024 - Taking Time To Quiet Our Minds and Pray
This week’s saint is St. Gemma Galgani, who is one of the patron saints of students. She lived in Italy in the late 1800s. St. Gemma was quiet and reserved but was known to always be smiling. She had a deep love of prayer and a close relationship with God.
In Advent, it is so easy for us to get swept up in the busyness of the season and forget to make time for prayer. May we each take time these next few days to quiet our minds and pray, spending time with Jesus, the real reason for this Christmas season.
Thank you!
Thank you to ASPA and all families who contributed to the Christmas gift for our faculty and staff! We are so grateful for your generosity and support, this holiday season and throughout the year. It is a blessing to work with your children and partner with you in their education. Thank you!
Christmas Concert
Thank you all for joining us for two amazing Christmas concerts yesterday! The students in preschool through 5th grade did such a wonderful job sharing their musical talents with us and putting us all in the Christmas spirit. Thank you especially to Miss Sipll for her leadership in creating these beautiful performances!
Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest
This morning our Student Council led a fantastic Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest for our students! Each homeroom voted on two finalists, and then Student Council voted to select the winner at each grade level, who received a medal. Reminders for Tomorrow
As a reminder, tomorrow is our last day of school before Christmas break. Students should be in uniform, as we’ll begin the day with Mass. Classroom parties will be at 10:15am, and all students will dismiss at 11:30am. There will be no lunch, bus home, or after care, so please make arrangements to pick up your child promptly at 11:30 to begin the break.
Lost and Found
This is the last call to check Lost and Found before break! Any items left behind after 11:30 Friday will be donated.
Annual Appeal
Thank you for your continued support of the Annual Appeal! With 145 donations totaling $26,845, we are at 89% of our goal! Mrs. Porlier’s class is still in the lead for the ice cream social, followed by Mrs. Kozar, Senora Myers, and Mrs. Lane’s classes. Any contributions received by 12/31 will count toward the ice cream social contest. Thank you for your generosity!

Congratulations to the following students who earned Saintly Acts this week: Noah H. (3rd grade), Julio M. (3rd grade), Caleb S. (3rd grade), Sebastian M. (6th grade), Isabella C.
