Saints Speak – 2/27/2020 - Generosity
From Mrs. Santos
It is hard to believe that The Crystal Gala, our 15th Annual Dinner Dance Auction, will be here in just a little over a week. This is the school’s largest fundraiser, and also our biggest ‘friendraiser’, as it is a grand night of fun with friends - old and new. On this night, I look forward to the opportunity to enjoy the company of our school families and supporters, and to recognize and celebrate All Saints Catholic Academy and our children.
The 5th grade parent volunteer team has been working tirelessly for many months to put together this evening. I would like to acknowledge their generosity in the sharing their many talents and copious amounts of their time to make the Gala a success. It is difficult to find the words of thanks to adequately express all of the gratitude that I, and the entirety of our All Saints school community, would like to offer to the planning team of this year’s DDA.
Part of the excitement of the Gala is the auction items that will be available for bid – both live and silent. It is staggering to see the depth and breadth of the different and varied items that have been donated. Many thanks to our school parents, businesses, and other benefactors for their generosity in making these contributions.
Whether you will be attending the event or not, there are many ways that you can be involved:
- Purchase a Tuition Credit Raffle Ticket.
- Bid on an item (and win!!!).
- Purchase your child’s Luminary.
- Volunteer to help.
- Purchase a 50/50 Raffle Ticket.
- Participate in the raffles at the event.
- Sponsor a Teacher.
These are just a few of the ways in which you can generously contribute to this evening. Every contribution – no matter how large or how small – becomes part of the success story, and directly impacts our children and the school.
During this current week, where we are diving deep into and exploring the virtue of generosity, I would like to thank you for your support of and generosity toward All Saints Catholic Academy. Our school families donate money, offer many hours of volunteering, serve on and lead many committees and events, and help to keep our school a happy and safe place to learn.
We are truly blessed by and grateful for the generosity that exists here at All Saints Catholic Academy.
