We welcome our New Principal

Mrs. Marshall comes to All Saints from St. Juliana School in Chicago where she has served as principal for three years from 2017 to the present.  At St. Juliana, she leads over 40 faculty and staff members, and 470 preschool through grade 8 students.  She is committed to Catholic education and instruction that is academically excellent and rooted in Gospel values, in a nurturing Catholic environment.

Prior to her tenure at St. Juliana, she served as principal of St. Cyprian Catholic School in River Grove for four years from 2013-2017, as Assistant Principal of Sacred Heart School in Winnetka for a year from 2012-2013, and as a teacher and athletic director at St. Matthias School in Chicago where she taught 6th through 8th grade math and science for 3 years from 2009-2012.

Mrs. Marshall graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2009 with a BBA, majoring in Finance with a minor in Philosophy.  She earned an M.Ed. degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University Chicago in 2011, and an M.Ed. degree in Educational Leadership from De Paul University in 2014.  She is a true product of Catholic education in the Diocese of Joliet, and is a proud graduate of St. Francis High School in Wheaton.

Mrs. Marshall believes in a leadership philosophy where the principal exhibits enthusiasm, compassion, and a love of children and learning.  The principal is a model for all who enter the school, and what type of behavior is expected.  The principal should show through their actions as well as words, how to treat others with respect and kindness.  The principal must be organized and prepared, efficient, and solutions oriented.  Additionally, the principal must be flexible, yet resolute in their effort to do what is best for the students, continually working to improve school culture and student achievement.  Through the principal’s leadership and example, the school can and will be a place of welcoming, acceptance, and love for all.

Margie and her husband are proud and very busy parents to their 19-month-old son, Tommy.   Mrs. Marshall will begin her new role at ASCA on July 1st; and is excited and delighted to be joining the All Saints Catholic Academy community as the school’s new principal this fall.
