Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 4/30/2026 - The Key to Finding True Peace
Our saint this week is St. Dominic Savio, and our holy habit is peacemaking. St. Dominic lived in Italy in the mid 1800s. He lived a short life, dying from illness at only fifteen years old. However, in that short time, he became known as a peacemaker. He often helped his classmates resolve disagreements and found ways to bring people together. St. Dominic saw Jesus in each person, seeing the good and finding ways to unite instead of separate. Our world so often focuses on difference, rather than unity. St. Dominic reminds us that we are all children of God, and when we focus on that rather than our differences we can find true peace.
