Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 5/7/2026 - Listen and Trust Like Mary
This is our final week of studying a saint, and we’ve saved the best for last – our Blessed Mother, Mary! Our holy habit this week is trust. Whenever I spend time really thinking and praying about Mary and the trust she had in God, I am simply in awe. She never questioned or doubted, just trusted in His plan and allowed his will to be done. As I think about Mary’s openness and acceptance, I’m reminded that God has a plan for each one of us as well. If we listen and trust, He can do great work through each of us as well.
Happy Mother’s Day!
In addition to honoring our heavenly Mother, we honor and thank all our mothers this Sunday. Moms, thank you for all you do for your children and our school. We are grateful for your partnership, support, and love of your sons and daughters. Below is a Mother’s Day prayer for you.
Loving God,
as a mother gives life and nourishment to her children,
so you give life and care for your Church.
Bless these women, as we celebrate this day in their honor.
May they be strengthened as Christian mothers.
Let the example of their faith and love shine forth.
Grant that we may honor and appreciate them with a spirit of profound respect.
May the example of Mary, mother of Jesus, inspire them to live their vocation as Christian mothers and call their children to faith. Guide and protect them in challenging times and help them to continue to trust in you all the days of their life.
Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
