Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 2/26/2026 - Faith in Action Challenges

With the short week and no Faith Buddies time, we did not have a new saint or holy habit to focus on this week. We have continued our Lenten practice of sharing a scripture verse each morning, along with a Faith in Action Challenge. These challenges are small things that students can do during the day, focusing on either praying, fasting, or almsgiving, to grow closer to God throughout their Lenten journey. Consider asking your child about the daily challenges and if they are trying to do them this Lent!

All Diocesan teachers and faculty will be at a Professional Development Day tomorrow, held at Benet Academy. Please keep us in your prayers!

End of 2nd Trimester

Today is the last day of the second trimester. We are proud of our students’ many accomplishments and looking forward to starting the final third of our school year together on Monday. As we enter the third trimester, we will be reminding students of behavioral and academic expectations. There is a lot of learning yet to take place, at all grade levels, during these next few months of school!

DDA Update

There is still time to get your tickets to the Dinner Dance Auction! The deadline has been extended to Monday, March 2ndClick here to purchase your tickets today so you don’t miss out on our biggest parent event of the year!

We are also still in need of wine donations for the wine pull. Consider donating a bottle (value of $20 or more). Donations may be dropped off at the welcome desk. Thank you!

Health Office Communication

To improve communication, the nurse’s office is beginning to use FACTS to send emails about minor injuries that result in visits to the nurse’s office. These emails will have the subject “Confidential: Medical Event Notice” with your child’s name and include the details of the nurse's assessment and any treatment. The nurse will always still call for any serious injury, including any head injury, but will use these emails to share minor events that don’t require immediate notification.

Athletics

Good luck to all our basketball teams competing in the first round of playoffs this weekend!
