Saints Speak from Mrs. Marshall - 4/9/2026 - Put the Love of God Before All Else

Happy Easter! I hope you all had a wonderful break; it is good to be back as we finish strong during these last two months of school. Please read all of today’s Saints Speak message, as there is lots happening at ASCA in the coming weeks!

Our saints this week are St. Louis Martin and St. Zelie Guerin Martin, and our holy habit is loyalty. St. Louis and St. Zelie were a married couple and parents of nine children. Their youngest, St. Therese of Lisieux, also became a saint! When we think about loyalty, we typically think about family, friends, or even a favorite sports team. What guided St. Louis and St. Zelie, however, was their loyalty to God first and foremost. Sometimes loyalty to God can seem to be in conflict with loyalty to the loved ones in our lives. St. Louis and St. Zelie’s example encourages us to put love of God before all else, trusting that the other pieces will fall into place according to God’s plan.

April Masses

We have three school Masses in April, all led by our Kindergarten classes! Click here to RSVP if you will be joining us. We look forward to beautiful liturgies together this Easter season!

Daddy Daughter Dance

The Daddy Daughter Dance is this Saturday! We are still in need of volunteers from 4:15-8:30pm. Some volunteer jobs include check-in, assisting the photographers, drink station, snack station, and clean up. Please consider signing up for a shift to help this special evening run smoothly – click here to sign up. Contact Katherine Preze (katherinepreze@gmail.com) with any questions. Thank you!

Book Fair & Literacy Night

Our spring Scholastic Book Fair is next week! We need volunteers to help ensure the Book Fair runs smoothly. Click here to sign up for a volunteer shift (or two)! Thank you!

In conjunction with the Book Fair, Literacy Night will be held on Wednesday, April 15th, 5:30-7:00pm. At Literacy Night your family can shop the Book Fair and participate in fun literacy stations and activities throughout the building. ASCA students who participate in Literacy Night will earn an Out of Uniform Pass (or prize for preschool).

Spring Play: Holy Mother of Bingo

Our spring play, Holy Mother of Bingo, is just two weeks away! The show will run Friday April 24th at 7:00, and Saturday April 25th at both 3:00 and 7:00. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for students, and can be purchased online by clicking here.  Tickets purchased at the door will be $10 for adults, $5 for students. Thank you for supporting our theater program!

$300 Tuition Payment Due April 24th

As in past years, in April we require a non-refundable payment per family that will be credited to next year’s 2026-2027 tuition. This year, this payment is $300, to avoid any confusion with the $250 re-enrollment fee paid in January. This payment will be charged to your current FACTS agreement for all returning families and is payable by Friday, April 24.  Families who do not pay this amount, which will be credited to 2026-2027 tuition, will forfeit their student’s enrollment spot at that time. If you do not plan to return to All Saints and have not previously informed us, please contact me at mmarshall@ascacademy.org.

We are in the process of finalizing next year’s budget, including tuition rates. This information will be shared with families by the end of April, after approval by the Board of Directors and Executive Board. This $300 payment will then be credited to the published tuition amount for 2026-2027.

School Board of Directors

As we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year, we are seeking new members for our Board of Directors (School Board) to replace the current members who are finishing their three-year term in May. The Board of Directors is an advisory board that supports the school administration in overseeing the school’s strategic planning and operational success. Board members meet monthly during the school year and also serve on one of the Board’s committees (Catholic Identity & Diversity, Finance & Operations, or Marketing).

Please prayerfully consider whether you might be called to support ASCA as a Board member. Click here to complete the application to express your interest by April 30th. We will review applications in May and follow up with interested individuals. Thank you for your consideration!

Yearbooks

You should have received an email directly from Elan Photography, but in case you missed it, click here to purchase your All Saints yearbook for the 25-26 school year! All 8th graders receive a yearbook as part of their graduation fees and do NOT need to purchase one. For all other students, this is your only chance to purchase the yearbook as we do not purchase extras. Place your order by Sunday, April 19th, so you don’t miss out on this important book of memories!

Break A Rule Day

Next Thursday, April 16th, is Break a Rule Day for any students who purchased Break a Rule passes through the DDA. For each pass purchased (and presented to the homeroom teacher on Thursday), students can break one rule. Four passes = four rules broken. Rule-breaking options are

  • Wear a non-school sweatshirt
  • Wear a hat
  • Wear makeup
  • Wear sweatpants/non-uniform pants or shorts

Student Council Food Drive

Our Student Council is leading a Food Drive. Monday April 13th through Friday May 1st, they will be collecting nonperishable food items to donate to Loaves & Fishes. Please place any donations in the bins by Door 1. Thank you!
