Event: Kid's Day of Service

When: Friday, September 6th after school (whenever you can get there) to 6 pm

What: Calling all kids (age 2 and up) and families!  Want to participate with us in a day of service sponsored by Whole Foods Markets nationwide?  Then join us at St. James Farm for an afternoon of clean up and tending (weeding, pruning, watering, harvesting, etc.) to one of DuPage counties most beautiful recreation areas!  In addition to volunteering, we will be serving an early dinner after we finish the work courtesy of the Whole Foods Market Wheaton & Willowbrook stores.  Complete the Service Project Form after performing the act of service.  For more information about the event and to RSVP, please go to https://wfmwheaton.eventbrite.com

Well, it is finally here!

The ‘place to be’ this weekend will be the ASCA Fall Fun Fair – this Sunday, September 29 from 1-4 pm! Pre-ordered t-shirts and tickets will be going home today – Wednesday, September 25 - with your student. Please be sure to look for both, and contact Maria Gulli at pmgulli@comcast.net with any questions.

T-shirt colors by grade level are as follows: Yellow – Preschool through 1^st grade, Orange - 2^nd through 5^th grade, Green - Junior High). Even if you didn't pre-order tickets, come to the Fun Fair – tickets will be available for purchase on Fair Day. This year's fun fair includes Sandy Candy, Bounce House, Cake Walk, Photobooth, Button making, Sports Zone, Games, Prizes and much, much more!

If you are donating peanut-free baked good items, please drop them off at school from 3:00 - 3:45 pm on Friday, September 27, or at Door 1(by the stained glass windows) from 9 am to Noon on Saturday, September 28. Thanks, and see you at the fair!

All Saints is holding a fall flower fundraiser.  Please see the Mum Fundraiser flier with details on how to order your yellow, bronze, maroon or purple mums to beautify your home this fall.  These flowers are locally grown by Lizzie’s Garden in Naperville, and are of the same high quality as the plants that were offered in our spring geranium flower sale, so do not miss this opportunity.  Jumbo pots of garden mums are being offered for only $20, and medium pots for $10.  Please do not delay in submitting your order ASAP, as we are on a very short timeline.

Our first Market Day of the year will be held on Wednesday, September 18^th, with product pick up from 2:30-3:30 pm in the gym (enter through Door 9).  As a reminder, 10% of your pre-tax order will be credited to the 2013-2014 fundraising obligation, so please take advantage of this fundraising opportunity.  You are encouraged to place your order online at www.marketday.com, and pay by credit card.   The deadline for internet orders is Saturday, September 14^th, at 11 pm.  All Saints Catholic Academy's school code is 27119.  Volunteers are needed to help sort and stack the food.
