Vacation Bible School at Holy Spirit

It’s that time again……to register for Vacation Bible School!  Vacation Bible School will take place June 17-21, 2013 at Graham Elementary School from 9:00 am - Noon each day.  Children will learn about standing strong for God through drama, song, craft, snack time, and games.  Registration is available online this year, but don’t delay—all registrations are due no later than April 30, 2013.  Please visit www.hscc.us/RE/VBS.html to register.  Cost is $42.00 per child.    We are also seeking adult volunteers who can lead the children through the stations.  All adults must complete a Protecting God’s Children session before May 31, 2013 to volunteer.  Please see the website to volunteer, or email Jo Anne Bratkovich, VBS Coordinator, at jbratkovich@jths.org.

Purchase a Brick for the St. Therese, The Little Flower, Graduate Plaza

Buy a brick to commemorate your child’s years at ASCA, or honor a special student, First Communion, graduation, teacher or coach!  This is also a great way to memorialize a loved one, celebrate a birthday or an anniversary with a gift that will last a lifetime.

The sponsorship of a brick costs $175, $250 or $500.  Please contact Meg Olsen at molsen@ascacademy.org for more information.  All St Therese order forms are due by May 31st.

2013-2014 School Supplies

You may now place your order for school supplies for this fall on line at http://www.shopttkits.com/, and use the school's account number which is 33770.   The last date to order these school supplies is Friday, June 7.  This is a firm deadline, and no exceptions can be made.   For all orders completed by June 7, supplies will be shipped to the school, and distributed to each student’s classroom.  When you arrive at our Meet and Greet event on Monday, August 19, you will find the supplies box with your child's name in their homeroom.  At that time, you may choose to either leave the supplies at school, or bring the supplies home with you.  Of course, online ordering is optional.

Special Supplies Information for Jr. High Students:  There is a required calculator for 6, 7 and 8th graders. If you need to purchase one, it is listed online as a separate item from the grade level school supply kits. Scroll down the page until you find it and add it to your order.

Also for 8th grade students ONLY, the book Dictionary of Word Origins 2011 ed., by John Ayto is required for all 8th graders, and can be purchased on Amazon.com (The SchoolKidz company cannot supply this book.)
