Box Tops for Education Program

The Box Tops for Education Program is great way to earn cash for All Saints Academy!

Our goal is for the 2014-15 school year is $2,000 or 20,000 Box Tops.

Please send in Box Tops with your student – collection boxes are in the classrooms.

Also, you could win 2,500 box tops for ASCA. Enter the sweepstakes http://www.boxtops4education.com/bonus-box-tops.  We are looking for volunteers to clip and count Box Tops. This a great job to do at home.  Please email Barbara Garitty at bmgaritty@aol.com if you are interested. (You will also be clipping Campbell Soup UPC codes.)   Thanks for choosing to make a difference for our school with Box Tops!

Campbell's Labels for Education Program

Did you know that ASCA collects Campbell Soup Labels (UPC’s)? It is a great way for ASCA to earn various items for the school. Please clip the UPC code, the front of the label is no longer accepted. Send in to the classroom with your student.  For V8 products, send in the bottle caps (washed). The students will put them into the Box Tops Collection Boxes (keep sending in the Box Tops too!). For a complete list of products and point values, please visit http://www.labelsforeducation.com/.  We need volunteers to clip and count Campbell’s UPC codes. This a great job to do at home, please email Barbara Garitty at bmgaritty@aol.com if you are interested. (You will also be clipping/counting Box Tops.)

Preschool Project

Our ASCA Preschoolers are now doing a Stewardship project.  They are helping an animal shelter, as well as a local vet.   If you’d like to help their efforts it would be appreciated. The details are as follows:

(From now until the end of the school year)

•         Save and bring old newspaper to school--for use in cages

•         Save and bring wine corks (they must be cork, not rubber) to school--for birds and bunnies to gnaw

•         Donate any kind of unopened animal food/treats

Any donations can be brought to Room 105 or Room 103.  THANK YOU!

Mother-Son Event – Chicago Wolves Game

Please join us for the 3rd annual ASCA Mother-Son Date Night with the Chicago Wolves on Saturday, February 21, 2015.  The Wolves are playing the San Antonio Rampage at the Allstate Arena. Tickets include an ASCA/Wolves customized T-shirt, a Wolves winter knit hat, free admittance to the pre-game fun fest in the Skyline room (located across the street from the arena), and a special ASCA seating section on the lower level. The intent is for ASCA moms and sons to take part in the fun fest from 5:00 -6:30 pm; we will then move to a block of seats for the game which begins at 7:00 pm.  The Mother-Son Chicago Wolves flyer with event details will be sent home with all boys today, and will also be located on the school website.  If there are any questions, please contact Betsy Knox at betsy.knox@alcatel-lucent.com.  Please understand this is an “ordered event” (tickets and tees) and this deal will NOT be available after the deadline (Friday, January 23, 2015.)  We hope to see all moms and sons at this fun evening out!

Broken Crayons Wanted!

We are on the hunt for all types of crayons in any shape or size; new, used and broken. The crayon collection will go to SCARCE, where usable crayons will be redistributed, and broken ones will be melted down and molded into extra large "super crayons" to be used by children with special needs. Please drop off your crayons in the office during the month of February. If you have any questions, please contact Bridget Roe at roeyerboat@yahoo.com.
