The 21^st Annual “Light of My Life” Outdoor Mass will be held at the grotto in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery on Sunday, October 11^th at 6:15 PM.  The intention of this evening is to dedicate a luminaria as a silent tribute to any person(s) who may have touched your life in a special way, deceased or living, past or present.  Information about Luminary Service Hours for this event and the Luminary Order Form have been included with this newsletter.

Friday, October 16^th is the 3^rd annual Move Your Feet To Give A Child A Seat event sponsored by the Catholic Education Foundation.  While we do not ask our students to go out and solicit, we do want to support this great Diocesan event.  So….We will have an out of uniform day on Friday, October 16^th. Students bring in $1 that day and wear their casual clothes (good judgement is still required – no short shorts, tube tops or spaghetti tops – no army boots or colored hair – no shredded clothes, etc.   We remember that we are still in God’s house.)  

The major relics of St Maria Goretti will be venerated at St Mary Immaculate Church in Plainfield on Thursday October 15^th. The attached St Maria Goretti flyer will provide more information on this moving event.

Although All Saints will not be collecting used books in October of this year as has been done in the past, Saint Elizabeth Seton could still use your donations!  They will be hosting a Used Book Sale on Saturday and Sunday, October 10^th and 11^th, in the Great Hall.  Any used book donations can be dropped off at the church on October 9^th after 4:00 pm.   Used dvds and puzzles are also welcome.   St. Elizabeth Seton is located at 2220 Lisson Road, Naperville, 60565.
