Jesus the Teacher…….what a wonderful image.  In the report cards that you received last week, and as you meet with your child’s teacher(s) at conferences, I hope that the image of Jesus the Teacher is what you are finding.

The Remembering the Teachers Flyer with all of the details is being sent home with all oldest and only students today, and is also available as the school website. The deadline for your donation is Tuesday, November 26th. The True Meaning of the Rosary

Thursday, November 14th, 7:00 – 8:30 pm in McSherry Hall

The rosary is one of the most widespread devotions in the Catholic faith.   Catholics are usually associated with the rosary and devotion to the Virgin Mary.   The origins of this common, yet controversial devotion are surprising.  Why have saints and visionaries throughout the centuries stressed the importance and power of these seemingly repetitious prayers?  What effect does the rosary possess for us today?  And, is the rosary one of the remedies of peace and calm amid so many social ills?  These and other questions will be examined as we delve into the true meaning and purpose of this devotion.  The evening will culminate with the praying of the Rosary.  Families are encouraged to attend.  Please contact Anne-Marie Cronin at anne.marie.cronin@sbcglobal.net with any questions.

Wednesday Morning Rosary Reminder

Please join us in praying the Rosary in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Reflection Chapel (located across from the school gym) at 7:50 am before Wednesday school mass. Instruction sheets and extra Rosaries are always available. Kids (even noisy ones) are welcome!  So, we look forward to you joining us each Wednesday morning. Please contact Darlene Newman at newmdar@gmail.com with any questions.

Healthy Tips from Mrs. Loscheider in the Health Office

Try not to shop when hungry or when the children are tired. Go with a list written by the way the store is laid out.  Try to shop the perimeter of the store where you will find the fresh products.  You will be more apt to cook at home with fresh products in the house.

The ASCA school store, The Run Away Pencil, is open every Monday and Thursday morning just outside Café 1 from 7:30 to 7:50 am.

December Hot Lunch Orders

December hot lunch orders may be placed online until Friday, November 15.  Please visit https://fspro.orderlunches.com.  All Saints’ school password is allsaints136.
