MaryAnn Porlier has been teaching at ASCA since 2012 but has officially been teaching 1st Graders for almost 20 years! She lives in Naperville with her husband. They have two grown children and will soon be first-time grandparents! Aside from teaching, Mrs. Porlier enjoys walking, running, and yoga, as well as tackling home and garden projects.
Mrs. Porlier is a product of Catholic education and has a passion for teaching. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and Master’s degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Reading & Literacy and is also a Certified Reading Specialist. She is dedicated to promoting positive learning experiences so that her students may develop confidence and willingness to explore, take risks, and find success within a nurturing learning environment!
