Mrs. Cappetta graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and from Concordia University with a Master’s Degree in Reading and Literacy. This will be her 13th year teaching 2nd grade! She believes that all of her students can learn and she wants to help them reach their full potential. She fosters a growth mindset with her class. She encourages her students to set goals, overcome challenges, and embrace the power of yet. Mrs. Cappetta encourages and nurtures her second graders to become lifelong learners.
Mrs. Cappetta and her husband Anthony live in Woodridge. In her free time she enjoys reading, shopping, walking her dog Bo, and spending time with family and friends.
