Mrs. Sue Samonds has a passion for education, whether she is teaching or taking classes, a passion she tries to share with her students. Mrs. Samonds received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Northern Illinois University; a second major in Accounting and a MBA from Benedictine University, and a CPA from the state of Illinois. Besides her K-9 certification she also has a high school certificate with endorsements for math, business and accounting. She has taught junior high math for over 30 years.
Widowed, Mrs. Samonds has 3 grown sons, graduates of St. Peter and Paul School and Benet Academy, 9 beautiful grandchildren, and 1 adorable great-granddaughter. She has lived in Winfield for the past 15 years and attends St. John the Baptist Church. Her favorite hobby is watching soap operas and Grey's Anatomy.
