Mrs. Karyn Eckman is thrilled to be stepping back into math education at ASCA. She will be teaching the 7th grade Pre-Algebra class. Math has always been her favorite academic subject. She is excited to challenge the students as well as nurturing their struggles in a highly effective manner catering for students of all standards and abilities. She loves that this community is a blend of strong academics and faith based learning. Mrs. Eckman has previously taught middle school geometry and 7th grade mathematics for 6 years. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Education from Illinois State University and has a Masters of Art in Middle School and Elementary Mathematics from Northeastern Illinois University. Her passion for teaching young minds has always driven her to pursue education at home and in the schools. She believes all children are God's miracle.
Mrs. Eckman, along with her husband Scott and four children Kayden, Jacob, Luke and Grace live in Naperville. In her free time she enjoys health and wellness, being active, lake life and spending time with family and friends.
