Clarissa R.E. Myers is the ASCA Junior High Spanish teacher. She holds a BA in Spanish Literature with highest honors, a minor in Latin American Studies, a Masters in Teaching, and a Juris Doctorate.
In addition to her education, Mrs. Myers has traveled to or lived in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, and Uruguay. She has been involved in teaching her whole life, including teaching English as a second language, translating, judging Mock Trial, leading a Girl Scout troop, teaching Sunday School, and tutoring Spanish. She is excited to be a part of the ASCA family and believes in the grace and love of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Myers loves all things ocean and has worked as a first mate and Divemaster in Florida. She grew up in Naperville, and along with her husband and his Italian family, she has raised two children. She also loves praising God by cantoring during Mass. When not busy with school and family, you will see Mrs. Myers running with her beloved German Shepherd and Belgium Malinois, kayaking, hiking, and traveling.
