Mrs. Myers

Clarissa R.E. Myers is the ASCA Junior High Spanish teacher. She holds a BA in Spanish Literature with highest honors with a minor in Latin American Studies and a Juris Doctorate. She is currently working toward her Masters of Arts in Teaching at St. Xavier University in Chicago. In addition to her education, Mrs. Myers has traveled to or lived in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, and Uruguay. She has been involved in teaching her whole life, including teaching English as a second language, translating, judging Mock Trial, leading a Girl Scout troop, and tutoring Spanish. She is excited to be a part of the ASCA family and believes in the grace and love of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Mrs. Myers loves all things ocean and enjoys working as a professional Divemaster during the summer. She grew up in Naperville, and along with her husband and his Italian family, she has been raising two excellent teenagers, ages 15 and 17. When not busy with school and family, you will see Mrs. Myers running with her beloved German Shepherd dog, Alex.
