May 2022 Hot Lunch Ordering is NOW OPEN through Thursday, April 21

Hot lunch ordering for May is now open.   

 

A couple of highlights for the month:

  • Beef Nachos with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese on Thursday, May 5th (Cinco de Mayo)
  • On the last day of hot lunch for Preschool - 7th grade (Friday, May 27), the dessert will be an Ice Cream Bar of their choice.

 

Please note:

  • The final hot lunch for 8th grade will be Tuesday, May 24. 
  • The final hot lunch for Preschool - 7th grade will be Friday, May 27.  
  • There will be no hot lunch on Tuesday, May 31 or Wednesday, June 1.  1st - 7th grade students will be expected to bring a lunch on these days.  

 

Ordering for May will close on Thursday, April 21.

 

Please make sure all payments are in by Monday, April 25 to avoid disruption of service.

 

Remember:

  • All drinks and ice cream/frozen treats must be purchased ahead of time.
  • Please complete an order for each student. Once your order has been entered in SchoolSpeak, you can send the payment to school by the order deadline (Thursday, April 21). Payments will still need to be made by cash or check made out to ASCA (if you have multiple children, you may make out one check payment for the total).
  • We do not offer refunds or credits due to absence or illness.

Lastly, just a reminder that you have one more day to order your hot dog lunch for Friday, April 22. Click here for the order form.  The order deadline is tomorrow, Thursday, April 14.

Faith's Law

All Saints follow's Faith's Law, an Illinois law enacted in 2023 to support schools in ensuring the safety of all children while at school. School Accreditation and Recognition

All Saints Catholic Academy is accredited through the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA).

WCEA is a nationally recognized accrediting body that evaluates Catholic schools based on academic quality, Catholic identity, leadership, and long-term sustainability. The achievement affirms the Diocese of Joliet’s and All Saints Catholic Academy's continued commitment to excellence in both education and faith formation and formalizes a process for continuous school improvement.


 

All Saints Catholic Academy has received 'Recognition' status from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) as a non-public school, and been state recognized since its inception in 2005.  A "recognized school" means that an ISBE appointed team has visited the school to confirm it is following all required laws. The ISBE team looks at school policies, student and staff files, safety records, and other things; a team revisits the school every five years.  Find out more about non-public school recognition at the ISBE site - https://www.isbe.net/nonpublicprograms.

School Year Hours:  7:30 AM - 4 PM.  Our main entrance during the school year is Door 1.

Summer Office Hours:  9am to Noon (Monday through Thursday) June through end of July.  Please come to Door 7 during the summer months.  Please phone first to confirm that the office is open.
