Spirit Wear Sunday Weekend

We are excited to let you know about a new way to show your ASCA spirit, and to connect with other school families:

Spirit Wear Sundays!

.......................................... (and Saturdays).  The last weekend of every month will be known as Spirit Wear Sunday at your home parish.

Take a picture of your child in ASCA spirit wear/ASCA logo'd clothing at the mass you attend, and send your photo to socialmedia@ascacademy.org.   Please include a copy of your parish bulletin for that weekend in the photo.   Moms and Dads - join in the fun, and show your spirit too!!!!

Title your email - "Spirit Wear Sunday", and include your student(s) name and homeroom(s).

Each Monday following Spirit Wear Sunday, we will have a drawing for lucky students to win out of uniform passes - read and revealed over the morning announcements!

Spirit Wear Sunday weekends are as follows:

  • February 23/24
  • March 30/31
  • April 27/28
  • May 25/26

Photos must be emailed to socialmedia@ascacademy.org by 8 pm on Sunday evening to be entered in the Monday morning drawingClick here for more information.

Look for your other ASCA friends at your home parish on these weekends, and say hello.  You may even see a teacher or two!

Faith's Law

All Saints follow's Faith's Law, an Illinois law enacted in 2023 to support schools in ensuring the safety of all children while at school. Click here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vgqVZXY-zNwIjgdNI2UTPpUVc577DKnb/view)  for more information from the Illinois State Board of Education about Faith's Law.

School Accreditation and Recognition

All Saints Catholic Academy is accredited through the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA).

WCEA is a nationally recognized accrediting body that evaluates Catholic schools based on academic quality, Catholic identity, leadership, and long-term sustainability. The achievement affirms the Diocese of Joliet’s and All Saints Catholic Academy's continued commitment to excellence in both education and faith formation and formalizes a process for continuous school improvement.

All Saints Catholic Academy has received 'Recognition' status from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) as a non-public school, and been state recognized since its inception in 2005.  A "recognized school" means that an ISBE appointed team has visited the school to confirm it is following all required laws. The ISBE team looks at school policies, student and staff files, safety records, and other things; a team revisits the school every five years.  Find out more about non-public school recognition at the ISBE site - https://www.isbe.net/nonpublicprograms.
