Candy Collection for Support Our Troops

It is after Halloween, and you have a mountain of candy left.  You can eat it; but better yet, donate it.

SHPP Community Outreach - Saints in Service will be collecting your unwanted candy to donate to Support Our Troops.   Our next school wide collection will be a post-Halloween candy collection from Monday, November 5 through Wednesday, November 7th.  The candy will be collected outside of Door 1 and Door 7 from 7:30 - 8:00 am and from 3:30 - 4:00 pm on these days.

This candy will be donated to the Naperville based organization, Operation Support Our Troops (OSOT.)  OSOT’s mission is to support the morale and well-being of American forces by providing comfort, resources and education to them and their families.

Faith's Law

All Saints follow's Faith's Law, an Illinois law enacted in 2023 to support schools in ensuring the safety of all children while at school. Click here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vgqVZXY-zNwIjgdNI2UTPpUVc577DKnb/view)  for more information from the Illinois State Board of Education about Faith's Law.

School Accreditation and Recognition

All Saints Catholic Academy is accredited through the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA).

WCEA is a nationally recognized accrediting body that evaluates Catholic schools based on academic quality, Catholic identity, leadership, and long-term sustainability. The achievement affirms the Diocese of Joliet’s and All Saints Catholic Academy's continued commitment to excellence in both education and faith formation and formalizes a process for continuous school improvement.

All Saints Catholic Academy has received 'Recognition' status from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) as a non-public school, and been state recognized since its inception in 2005.  A "recognized school" means that an ISBE appointed team has visited the school to confirm it is following all required laws. The ISBE team looks at school policies, student and staff files, safety records, and other things; a team revisits the school every five years.  Find out more about non-public school recognition at the ISBE site - https://www.isbe.net/nonpublicprograms.
