No School - Thursday, February 17 - Expected Extreme Weather Conditions

Due to the severe weather and potentially dangerous travel conditions predicted for our area, All Saints will be CLOSED today, Thursday, February 17th. Please make arrangements for childcare if needed. There is no e-learning required for tomorrow.

Please note the building will be closed all day, so all basketball practices and after school activities are canceled as well.

If you must commute, travel safely. We look forward to seeing your children back at school on Friday. As a reminder, Friday is a scheduled half day (11:30 dismissal) for teacher institute in the afternoon. There is no bus service or after care on Friday.

Faith's Law

All Saints follow's Faith's Law, an Illinois law enacted in 2023 to support schools in ensuring the safety of all children while at school. Click here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vgqVZXY-zNwIjgdNI2UTPpUVc577DKnb/view)  for more information from the Illinois State Board of Education about Faith's Law.

School Accreditation and Recognition

All Saints Catholic Academy is accredited through the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA).

WCEA is a nationally recognized accrediting body that evaluates Catholic schools based on academic quality, Catholic identity, leadership, and long-term sustainability. The achievement affirms the Diocese of Joliet’s and All Saints Catholic Academy's continued commitment to excellence in both education and faith formation and formalizes a process for continuous school improvement.

All Saints Catholic Academy has received 'Recognition' status from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) as a non-public school, and been state recognized since its inception in 2005.  A "recognized school" means that an ISBE appointed team has visited the school to confirm it is following all required laws. The ISBE team looks at school policies, student and staff files, safety records, and other things; a team revisits the school every five years.  Find out more about non-public school recognition at the ISBE site - https://www.isbe.net/nonpublicprograms.
