Junior High Halloween Activities

Junior High Halloween Celebration

◾Students will be dressed in their literary character costume all day.
◾ELA classes will vote on their favorite character presentation.
◾We will have an assembly schedule.
◾All homerooms have been assigned a specific candy via the room parents. 

 

Tentative schedule of events:

 

◾1:30 pm - Parade for K-5 elementary students;  optional for junior high students.
◾2:15 pm - Official start of the Junior High Halloween Party beginning with a prayer.
◾2:20 pm - The top 9 literary characters (1 from each homeroom, voted on by classmates before the party) will do their presentations.
◾2:40 pm - JH trick or treats in the gym
◾3:00 pm - Students return to homeroom.

Faith's Law

All Saints follow's Faith's Law, an Illinois law enacted in 2023 to support schools in ensuring the safety of all children while at school. School Accreditation and Recognition

All Saints Catholic Academy is accredited through the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA).

WCEA is a nationally recognized accrediting body that evaluates Catholic schools based on academic quality, Catholic identity, leadership, and long-term sustainability. The achievement affirms the Diocese of Joliet’s and All Saints Catholic Academy's continued commitment to excellence in both education and faith formation and formalizes a process for continuous school improvement.


 

All Saints Catholic Academy has received 'Recognition' status from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) as a non-public school, and been state recognized since its inception in 2005.  A "recognized school" means that an ISBE appointed team has visited the school to confirm it is following all required laws. The ISBE team looks at school policies, student and staff files, safety records, and other things; a team revisits the school every five years.  Find out more about non-public school recognition at the ISBE site - https://www.isbe.net/nonpublicprograms.

School Year Hours:  7:30 AM - 4 PM.  Our main entrance during the school year is Door 1.

Summer Office Hours:  9am to Noon (Monday through Thursday) June through end of July.  Please come to Door 7 during the summer months.  Please phone first to confirm that the office is open.
